after market link pipe problems

i've bought some after market cans from fello raptor forum user 'elmer'

problem is, can't seem to get them to fit. they have come straight off his raptor 1000, but one link pipe won't fit.

his is a 2000 model, mine being 2003. is the pipe work different on different years? one side fits, but the near side (side on the side stand doesn't) when the link pipes on, it sticks out, it's got quite a 'kink' in it.

any ideas?

I had to twist and "jiggle" mine a bit to get them to sit right but neither should be KINKED

Have you tried swopping them round

Failing that you might have to get another one unless it can be tweaked into the right shape with a little gentle

I thought the make up of all the raptors was all the same...pipe wise I mean.
