dead xtraraptor.

Post by Raptordoc »

well here i am both arms and right leg in plaster after blind woman in
peugeot waited till i was 20 feet from her and then pulled out infront of me!at least the raptor wrote the car off too.only ten months old, less than 5000 miles and the insurance company want to offer me 5200. robbing b******s! we'll see about that! right ankle and heel badly mashed and will have limited movement so wether my raptor days are over remains to be seen.Be careful out there - just because they look directly at you don't mean they've seen you!

Thats bad news, sorry to hear about your injuries, hope you mend soon.

Just a thought but in a recent claim i had i disputed the value given for my written off bike and told them if they could find an identical bike with similar millege then i'd except their offer..... as they couldn't find another at that price they offered me more, it was even more than i'd actually insured the bike for.

Glad you are relatively unscathed.

How's the bike?

Maidstone Motoliners did a great job of repairing some crash damaged forks and yokes I had. I think the bike had hit a car as even the centre stem on the yokes was bent.

Whole lot was good as new for around 150 quid, including making a new centre stem for the yokes.

God help us with fools out there like that. Mend soon and get a good physio. I was told I'd land up with one shoulder an inch higher than the other after mashing a collarbone in a dirt bike off, but I avoided the Quasimodo look (at least in the shoulder department!) and the early diagnosis proved way off.

Keep the faith!
