Raptor 1000 Rear Sets .

Hi , anyone know of any manufacturer that still makes rear sets suitable for the Raptor 1000 ???
Used to see them advertised in Italy , but unable to locate any now !!!
Guess i should have got some 20 yr's ago , when they were readily available

I'm not entirely sure how 'rear setty' those actual are - I suspect if they were too far back & high the riding position would be seriously uncomfortable when combined with the low seat.

I notice the bike had a replacement swingarm as well.

Looks like its an Aprilia rear swing arm conversion. I noticed someone else on here has also done a front fork conversion using Suzuki K3/K4 parts and the original wheel. for anyone looking to modify their Raptor

A couple of us have used the Matris catridge kit for the front forks and as such they require no faffing about with spacers, new wheels, brakes etc.

I got the Rosmotos recently, nice piece of kit.
the height is good if u use the lower mounting positions, the neutral and upper once only work if u have a seriously taller seat
also going for a RSV swingarm this winter, K3/4 forks are already in the garage plus brembo m4 coming my way. Maybe I should start a buildlog if anyones interested

I've got the Rosmoto rear sets with pillion pegs. They're adjustable but I left them at the lowest, most forward position. I did do 1000 kilometre days with them, but that was 10 years ago when I was a bit more flexible. You'll need a longer custom made fluid line to the caliper and some sort of mount for the fluid reservoir.

Always interested in build/mod threads with loads of photo's etc.

If things pan out I'm hoping to give my old Raptor a full refurb in the not too distant future so such a thread would be useful.
