Raptor Chapter

Hi ,
Just got a 2000 year model 1000cc raptor.
Low mileage completely standard as far as I can.
I’m in Cambridge Uk.
I remember sitting on one in a show room when they first came out and finally I’ve got one!
Need to give it a good check over, needs new tyres and an oil and filter change.
Not sure what else it needs but may put some different exhaust end cans on soon.
Looking forward to some good weather and getting out on it.

Sounds like you have found a great bike in original condition. My only question is why would you want to change the pipes? I have a 2005 650 IE Raptor and the exhaust is a work of art just like the rest of the bike. The exhaust note is extremely nice. I would recondition rather than replace. Just my spin on things ...
