Its coming back

Post by candy »

Its coming back after 18 months of riding an mv agusta the raptor is about to return. The mv (brutale) was/is beautifully built and has the most wonderful suspension. It also has an engine which to be honest is just too strong for road use. At some point in its rev range a red light will come on to signify the red line, as there is no line on the rev counter. I will be honest that in the time I have owned the beast I have never seen said light due to my desire to stay alive. Google provided the answer for me it turns out that the 1090rr hits its red line in first at 93mph. If you give it anymore than a gentle throttle opening in first or second it just stands up, prob the same in third but by now you are going stupid fast. Like over strength booze its an example that stronger is not always better. God knows what the latest ktm's are like as the are pushing 160bhp on an adventure bike, pointless. So its the raptor for me. :D

Brutale by name, Brutale by nature. Motorcycle Art though.
Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
