Can't get the seat off!!!

hi

Just bought the wife a 650 raptor and want to fit a scottoiler and heated grips, but can't find how to get the bloody seat off!!!!!

Where is the release lever/bolts or whatever it might be?

also does anyone have a copy of the cagiva service manual they can email me please?

Hi and welcome, sorry for the delay in approving the post


if the 650 is the same as the 1000, the lock for the seat is underneath on the left hand side about 3/4 of the way back by the down tube towards the foot rest facing backwards and you use the ignition key.. htH

Yeah download the manual for the 1000 and then get yourself a Suzuki SV650 manual for the engine.

If you've high mount slipons removing seat without modified lock is pain in the ass !
