Raptor 125 maximum RPM?

Post by R100ELL »

Just got a Koso tachometer fitted to my Raptor 125 and it has a shift light on it and I was wondering if anyone knew what the maximum RPM should be on this wonderful 2 stroke as I wouldn't want to blow it up :lightfart:

Many thanks

looking it up it seems the max power is at 9000 revs and max torque at 8250.

For safety I would look at changing up by the lower figure but it depends on the bike, its characteristics and how you want to ride it.

You shift where the maximum power is.
So 9000 is good.

Many thanks for the input, I will set the shift light down from 9500 tomorrow as done enough work on it tonight. Tail tidy made, sprayed and fitted and rear brake pads fitted.

Just need to find a belly pan now and she will be complete
