Raptor Chapter

Hi all
after pushing my bike out of the garage for a ride, I returned to find this plastic "guard" type component on the floor.
Can anyone let me know what it is and where its from etc please?
do I need it?

dont really recognise it, it could be a home made tail tidy sort of thing, take a look under the rear of the mudguard and see if it looks loike anything is missing?

the undertray and under seat area is the only place where there's an amount of black plastic AFAIK
