Re: fork seals?
pretty sure I bought oil seals by size and dust seals as Xtra (listed as X Raptor) seals from Wemoto the dust seals don't have the little 'gaiters' but they do fit.
Wemoto do both sets of seals http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/cagiva/x_raptor_1000/01-04/ they don't list them as Raptor 1000 or V Raptor for some reason but I believe the forks are the same dimensions on each
I did post at the time, will try to find the thread

Re: fork seals?
never had a Ducati, and not sure if the 1000 is the same as the 650 Raptor so I can't say, sorry Dante. Though if those Duc forks are the same as the 650 then - probablyDante wrote:55 years agoThe monster 620 has the same forks right?
Do the fork seals match?

the internals and tweaking nuts could be JJ, but the seals fit

Re: fork seals?
I'd go for 10 rather than 15 because I believe the original is 5, am non technical but I'd think that 15 might make the front bounce about some. I'd adjust the rear shock more for 'laden weight'

Re: fork seals?
i thought 15w was thicker and so made it compress and rebound hard. lol at laden weight

Re: fork seals?
Correct 15 is heavier oil but most people think standard forks are hard so tend to go lighter
