if the wire is broken a temporary measure could be a chocolate block (yeah i know its easter) its a screw terminal strip 1 wire in each end and tighten, or crimp connector or solder. Then use heat shrink sleeving or insulation tape.

:lol: yup the chocolate blocks I have are house wiring types, can't find crimps and I know I had a bag of them. Twist and squish a new section and tape it up is the interim plan edit - scrub that section crimps and crimper now found :D
- check if the lights then work, wrench the rear unit off and then see if anything else is TU :pinch:


OR wait till my little brother gets here later today and get him to do it :wink:

Thank you all so much for the help and support :thumbsup: crimp crimped, wires taped and headlight working.
Rear light came apart in me hand guv' :shock: and there's a red wire adrift inside, this I can't fix, but a replacement unit should be on it's way
