Post by Miz »

Have bought a new-ish bike

Off to Lincoln tomorrow night after work to collect it, a nice 60 mile ride home to get used to it, will report back and let you know how I get on.

Was thinking about the grey version, but thought I may get confused when in the garage :)

Get some of those Japanese platform boots! 4 inch soles, sexy!

Seriously, I believe those are very easy to get lowered, expensive but easy.

I think owning 2 bikes is the way to go. A speedy toy and a touring machine or an off road jobbie if that is your bent. Looking longingly at DR400's and similar, but then I look at my ZRX1200 and think, WTF for? The Raptor suits Hilary for speedy and touring (as I get to carry all the gear!)

Cheers

Two bikes! Lets see, if funds permitted....

Raptor, squirt in the mountains on the black stuff
CRF 50, hurts less when I've drunk to much
WR450, squirt in the mountains that don't have black stuff
CR 125, i can jump puddles
Pantah, for classic twin racing
GS 1200, for when the back is hurting
This could go on awhile..........................

Well two maybe the way forward, the GS makes it five :D

OK, two are tucked away waiting for time/funds etc, one is running but needs finishing off and making legal.

Off out tomorrow on the GS, first run out in daylight, hoping for a bit of sunshine.
