Skidmarks screen problem?

Post by philattersall »

I bought a screen, but having trouble fitting it.
Silly drilled all the holes in the plastic horns, then i've noticed i can't fit the bottom two screws?
The top two screws aren't a problem. But the bottom ones, there isn't any room to screw them in? Do i need to drill holes into the v-rap body work........???
:?
Or has anyone other ideas to put it into place?

Had the same problem. I think all I did was shorten the two bottom screws. I just have to remember the 2 short ones are for the bottom. When the rubber expands in stays in place OK.

I had the same problem too, what you need to do is withe a dremel (very caryfully) cut out 2 semicircular shapes either side of the instument pannel on the 'firing' this will allow the rubber nuts to fit. even when the screen is removed these cut outs should not be visible. bit heart i mouth i know but should work. or if your going to east kerby next weekend i can show u in person. 8)
where's the bar?
