where to find exhaust gasket?

Post by wreckah »

hi guys,

i am looking for an exhaust gasket: you know, the ring between the rear header and midpipe (situated right next to the shock).

mine is totally blown through, and i can't ride the bike because it makes a hell of a racket  (MUCH louder than the scorpions...), and it's such great weather around here! :(

i have ordered the part at the cagiva dealer, but he hasn't got it delivered yet (it's been a week), so i'm guessing it is in backorder...could take a while!

anybody know if the suzuki TL1000S rear exhaust gasket would be the same?

cheers, and thanks,,

They do fit Wrekah - but are a little less deep (errm tall?) than the Cagiva ones - my last change of gaskets was all suzuki ones and they fitted fine :D

And the TL's one 'DO' Fit??

my bikes been in for 6 weeks now, waiting for a gasket. 3x are still waiting for the 'factory' to send one
So i've got to wait for the itailans to send them to 3x, then 3x to send them on to my mechanic.
I was hoping to get on the road this week!

I sent him a link to the other post regarding the TL's one's fitting. And he is saying there not a perfect fit? i did mention the pushing and pulling part but still
