Hi All

Beers and chasers?

As of Saturday I'm a new Raptor 1000 owner. (I'm the new bit, the Raptor is 5 years old). I traded up from an SV650: what a difference 350cc and Brembos make!

Welcome.

Heh, the brembos were the reason I chose the raptor 650 rather than the SV650. I was adding up all the cost of all the parts I'd want to upgrade on the SV, forks, shock, pipes and expecially brakes, then I saw the raptor which had them all already, and was *much* prettier.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Didn't have a Bowmore, so I got you Highland Piper. It's the same thing isn't it?

The only things I upgraded on the SV in three years of ownership were the tyres and the pipes. Didn't seem much point to go overboard on what's basically the Escort of bikes. The Cagiva, however, is a different matter.
