IOM TT 2007

Post by RaptorMan »

If any of you have ever been to the TT Races on the Isle of Man you will know that it is the centenary next year.
There used to be a meeting during the fortnight of the Italian bike owners club but this now seems to have separated to Ducati,Guzzi,Benelli etc.
So I was wondering if the RaptorChapter was considering doing one next year :?:
I think it would be a great idea  and as I live here I could probably sort out a genial meeting place(pub) 8) .
Post replies or PM me if you are interested.

I've been wanting to go for years, the 100th and a meeting sounds like a good reason to do it, I'll be raptorless though, costs too much

Sounds like a plan.

Always wanted to go. Don't mean to be cheeky but maybe you could help to sort out digs as well :?: :D

I am only working on practice week.I`m of the rest of it. :D
10am is a bit difficult for me to get out of work, had you been landing from 4pm onwards it would have been fine.

Bolero, get the boat booked and gimme the dates and I`ll sort somewhere for you to camp, our house is gonna be full but I might be able to put your tent in the back garden(dunno how many theres gonna be out there yet :?: ) but failing that there is a campsite just down the road and I should be able to get you booked on there if all else fails.

The campsite near me is in Peel on the west coast, only 3 miles from the TT course but 12 from Douglas.
Its dead easy to find and the facilities are very good. :)
We used to camp there for TT before we moved over permanently 8)
They charge £4 per adult per night,£2 for kids.

Ay chance of checking availability before we go to the trouble of trying to find a ferry. It would be for 2 adults and 2 bikes. Thanks in advance :)
