Personally I like to hide the tax disc holder as well as poss. They is ugly. And isn't it supposed to be on the left hand side?
I was trying to remember where mine was fixed but realised I don't have one. I just carry the disc in my wallet :D

Anyway - it wasn't meant as a criticism - I was just suprised that you'd want it spoiling the look of such a fine looking machine.
point taken on td holder but a mate got done once for not displaying even tho` it was in his wallet!!

I will have to find a better place to put it......................................(added that to the very end of the long, long list!)

More progress today, exhaust/brakes F&R/other odds and ends all done!

I had it running before with the window and it looks like a washing machine at first, then clouds up a bit, then as it gets hotter clears up and gives the gremlin in a microwave effect!

There are videos on youtube that show them running. They look neat as actually, with not much oil visible. They stop when the clutch level is pulled in and start to spin up as you let it out (obviously).

Here is a link with a TL1000R. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYBIdGMzGSI

Here is a link with an actual Raptor with the Red framed window. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myT7EgzI ... re=related

BTW, Ducati's with dry clutches usually use an open basket. I have never seen a dry clutch with a viewing perspex - only an open basket to get your finger (or something else in the case of ducati owners) caught in. ;)

Looks the business. I'd love to do something like that to mine, except I'm not very well organised. I'd lose half the bits stripping it down.

Sounds simple. I might have to have a go as I've just realised that I need a see through clutch cover.
