What type of a job is it to fit one of these and do they make a difference.

Hi, I've tried to follow the above link, but it is not there anymore, i am a complete novice and need immediate help, bike in shed with tank off and i have no idea which bit i'm supposed to put the tre onto it came in an envelope with no instructions - doh :cry: , is there anyone out there can help pleeeeeaaase

Little triangular plug on Right hand side, under the tank (Might even be exposed without lifting the tank. Unplug, plug the TRE in, cable tie to something, ride away. If you can get at it, 45 secs. If you have to lift the tank, 15 mins. Spectacular improvement through the gears!

Thanx very much steve, great help nearly tried to plug it in the other side!!! Also done the airbox mod, so gonna see what its like tomoz, weather permitting. :D

had lovely sunny day, bike is brill, sounds very grunty now, and tre works a treat below 4500rpm on the gear changes and roars off a treat :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
