Front sprocket removal

Post by TimO »

Hi Again
In the process of replacing the chain and sprockets with lovely shiny new stuff. I've read all the old posts about the original chain and can confirm that it is actually made from plasticene. I'm a little stuck at the moment as I can't seem to remove the front sprocket, the manual obviously doesn't mention it. Theres a funny bolt (6mm allen) which I can remove easily, but then theres a 32mm nut which seems to be holding the sprocket in place. Not sure which way I'm meant to be turning it or whether there's something else I need to remove first :?
So any suggestions would be most welcome

Ta

Thanks for that. Looks like I need to apply some more muscle to the problem! It's not a reverse thread is it?
