Probably should sharpen up my 'maintainence' checks.
I reckon it'll sharpen up your steering...
It's so easy to get used to under inflated tyres when you ride daily because it's such a slow gradual change.
Just recently I put around ~3/5 psi in my tyres to bring them back to spec and the bike almost felt unstable because it felt so much quicker on it's toes
Dropped the f****ng thing last night, luckily it looks so bad you'd never know.
Landed on/in a bag of old mortar & plaster about 18 inch high, Its a heavy old boy I'll tell you that, if it was flat on the ground I don't think I'd have got it up.
Given the right technique, which I've been shown but never practiced, it should be quite easy to Resurrect a Raptor because they always feel quite light compared with other bikes. Something about them being quite low, I think.

Commiserations: it's far too easy to do!

Nick
maybe it was because i was having a bit of a tantrum as i huffed & puffed and picked it up.
I was also in full gear, sweaty.
If you need any more excuses for my weakness i can keep going..

I remember once dropping the Darmah in a gas station when I swung my leg over to get off and forgot the army kit bag strapped to the pillion
Arse.
Fuel stations can be slippy as hell too wouldn't like to have been hoisting that up.
Raptor996: glad to see you still look in here, cos it's all your fault I got keen on Cagiva Raptors, after riding yours! Have you still got it or have you gone to the Bavarian Dark Side?
Hi Nick, no I don’t have the raptor anymore. I traded her in for the BMW. It’s a big old lump but once moving you don’t notice the weight.
Still miss the V twin though.
& yes I still check in regularly
