Found a couple of ebay sellers that sell carbon sheets for relatively cheap and probably cheaper than i can make them for ,so already having a pattern shouldn't be too hard to knock up a couple out of real carbon !
What did you do to your Raptor today

Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
That's going to look really nice, useful to have some sheets of it too. I'm tempted to try the TLS gearing you suggested (the X-rap seems quite revvy compared to my old V-rap) but I don't have any machine tools just normal hand tools. How difficult would it be to take the 1mm off the rear sprocket do you think or should I just take it all to the local bike shop and let them work it out? Would like to try myself though as have never done a chain and sprocket before....
Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
Its only 1mm so .5mm off all the way round, if using an alloy sprocket its easy to get that .5mm off. Steels a bit more work. I bought one of those chain link remover kits on ebay that also includes the riveting tool, don't use the clip type links.
I found some nice M5 black alloy bike bolts for those carbon blinker brackets.

Just waiting for the black bolts to arrive to replace the s/s ones! 4 indicators for $10

Looks cool, very unique! What do you think of indicator lights in the mirrors - something like this: http://r.ebay.com/d5jgrS

Hi, Don't take it to a bike shop, just go to a local engineering workshop, only a simple job to pop it into a lathe and spin out the centre bore.HiFi wrote: ↑7 years ago That's going to look really nice, useful to have some sheets of it too. Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
I fitted a new genuine suzuki 17t (TL) front sprocket, they seem to be getting harder to find these days? I noticed a grease nipple ? just inside the front part of the rubber chain guide just as it goes around the axle part, does anyone know what interval this should be serviced at

I must admit I don't recall ever seeing a grease nipple down there although I'm not entirely sure exactly where you mean Swingarm greaser perchance ??
I have seen 'kin plenty of grease mind... gawd how do you keep it so clean
