Thanks again for all the kind (mostly?) words and I hope to catch up with you in the summer one way or the other.
I am not too worried about looking for a job at present as I am way too busy with everything else!
Not much up my street up here in D&G anyway!
So anyone want to buy a low miles, mint Street Triple or a rather modified and individual VRaptor or an immaculate Honda VT750C Shadow?
First two to go decides which one I keep..........................................

Hey Wierdo, to keep it simple they are all up for £3500.
The Street Triple is 58 reg and low miles, the Shadow is 05 reg, black and very clean with low miles and you know the Rap as well as me, bought new in 07, one careful owner (I gave it to the cat for a day) and still lowish miles with some might say, tasteful upgrades here and there.
I have a new plan if I get to keep the Rap...........................

Sorry to hear of your bad news, but pleased for your good news. I was born in Dumfries (which makes me a "doon hamer" not a "dumb friesian"!), and always did think it would be a good place to retire to, hope you find something worthwhile to do and don't sell the raptor!
Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
