Fan kicks in at 106 degrees.

As for coolant, they get a bit incontinent when there's too much in the system. ;-)
Was your bike on the flat when the system had cooled down?

Ah, thanks diz, that's handy to know, I'll take her for a few "sighting laps" this week and see how she goes. These pics were taken when she was on a rear stand only, when she's on the ground and held upright by hand the coolant does sit on the MIN line.

Weather gets better and warmer everyday here in Finland,
so its time to finish Raptor modification for now and get her back to riding shape ! :revrev:
Didnt have enough time to do everything what I wanted but at least something.
Made spacers for front fender today, I think they look good, not great but good. Also glued fractured point of front fender. That front fender looks bit harsh because of all the cracks and stuff.
But have to deal with it for this summer, next winter I'll repair and paint it or buy a new one !
Mounted bar end mirror by the end off a day. Pics for progress and stuff.

Happy with her new outdoorprotection raincover

I wasnt so sure i wanted to do the clear clutch cover mod but very happy i did. Well my pc2 should be here soon and its already mapped for cagiva , open pipes and k&n filter,95 octane so should be a big improvement. 8) big thanks to mighty mariner for supplying me with a couple of maps to play with  !

Mmm, clutch cover does look nice, I was thinking about that mod myself but decided the slightly different silver colour might look a bit funny, but it doesn't at all, thanks for bursting my bubble! Is that a Rifleman one?

Today I had a lovely Autumn day 300km test ride of the new coolant I put in yesterday, lovely day for it at a balmy 23, and the engine temp peaked at 88 degrees just when I had to wait ages at some traffic lights, I'm a happy camper!

EDIT: Just remembered I also successfully tested my panel repair, after pulling one of the side panels off one of it's knobs the other day, if you haven't heard about it this Rapid Fix is bloody good stuff,

They do look good, but I think the billet pressure plate makes it look so much better.

I'm always amazed at the amount of condensation that you get to see , but maybe our cold climate makes it worse..

Just did a valve clearance check
Everything was ok after 30700 kms and didnt need adjusting.
Pretty easy to do it but you need time patience and room.and of course the right tools
