HELP!!!
HELP!!!
Went out for a ride the other day and all was fine and lovely. Now it just won't bloody start. I have removed the leads for the battery charger today but done nothing else at all. Turns over ok but will not go at all. After cranking a bit the FI warning comes up. Switch off and back on again and its turning over no problems. Shorted the diagnostic plug into dealer mode and, when first switched on, it C 00 so no fault codes then it goes to C12. Great now i have a code but no idea what it means. I am guessing that if it was the stand switch it would not go at all and same with clutch switch. I have bridged the clutch switch and this makes no difference. I desperately need to start the bike in the morning. I am hoping its something really stupid and simple. HEEEEELP!

Re: HELP!!!
Probably just a bad connector. Download the manual

Read page C38 and check the connectors behind the L/H sidepanel.

Re: HELP!!!
Checked the battery terminals? earth?
C12 is crankshaft position sensor
I'd check/clean/refit all and any connectors
p.s. Raptors often don't like optimates

Re: HELP!!!
You two are complete stars thank you. Me, with my clumpy firefighters hands probably have dislodged somethiing. Will check in the am. It wasn't an optimate and I only connected it when it needed charging having read Snaps' previous on Optimates eating Raptors.

Re: HELP!!!
Kill switch?.... just a thought cos I never use mine so when Boss took the Raptor out to play and killed it on the switch it took ages for me to work out what the problem was!

Re: HELP!!!
The position sensor wires on my 650 come up to a white connector block on the LHS at the front of where the seat sits, I had hassle with this earlier this year, would turn over but not fire.
Cleaned and all is good now.

I couldn't say with 100% certainty but I'd be really surprised if it doesn'tBloke23uk wrote:would you no if the tl1000 temp sensor will fit on the raptors
