bearing size front wheel
Its an SKF 6005 2RS 1/C3,
The 4 digit code goes like this
1st digit 6 means metric
2nd digit 0 means extra light series
3rd and 4 th digits multiply by 5 to give inside bore.
2 RS is sealed both sides.
and 1 C3 is the fit tolerance.
ID 25 mm OD 47 mm , 12 mm wide, (edited for wrong width).
£4.85 each from bearing supplies online.
Very light compared with my BSAs 6204 bearings.
Cheers
Pod

Stay calm.
okay guys,
i would like to comfirn this information. I just changed my bearings, and they were the correct ones. so
FAG/SKF 6005.2RSR.C3
ID 25 mm
OD 47 mm
width 12 mm (edited because i thought bore = width cheers Pod)
I have a totally different bike now! So smooth! woo-hoow!
Changing the bearings was a piece of cake. Just punch the old ones out. I used lithium grease for mounting the new bearings. I used the old ones as base for knocking the new ones in.
cheers,
Jan
