Baffles

Hi all,

I have Carbon Can Company new exhausts as some of you will know.

This is probably a silly question but apparently they have removable baffles. At the end of the exhaust there is a seperate piece of pipe inside which I am presuming is the baffle? There is a small pin underneath which seems to hold it in place.

To remove these if they are the baffles do I just pull them out as they seem firmly in there!?

The pin will be holding them, even with that removed, it'll be a wiggle & twist jobbie, as they have to be gastight - quite often there's a smear of Hi Temp Silicon sealant, which has to be 'broken' - just remember where you put the baffles/pins, as they're only ~ 8" long, roll easily......
