Guests?

Post by nickst4 »

What do we make of the statement that on Monday 4th of May 2020, at 4.59, there was a record number of 121 people looking at this site? Even as I write, there are supposedly 82 guests and one registered member (me) on line. Considering how few new posts there are here at the moment, there are either a vast number of wannabe raptor owners out there or something dubious is going on! :?

I'm surprised that some clever software person hasn't worked out how to zap bots. They'm as bad as viruses! Although viruses are just doing what viruses do and trying to make a go of life...

Bots aren't always malicious many of them are web crawlers used by search engines to build an indexing picture of the web.
