Re: Cagiva Xtra-Raptor 1000 from Italy
Welcome aboard!
I like it just as it is too! What's to modify with an Xtra, maybe just an exhaust swap to complete the package! It's nice, clean and well cared for. More miles than my Vraptor but tidier... Must be Italian sunshine

Re: Mods for a life of commuting
Hubba hubba sexy seat,!!!!
I know Top Selerie put them on eBay but there's none on there for the Raptor. Mega bucks for the ZZR14.
Diggers seats do practically identical for half the price

Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
Nowt done on the Raptor today. I spent three hours cleaning the crap off the chain and rear wheel of the ZZR, which has been glued on since about 2013. My husband proclaimed
It's chain is gold, and the wheels are silver!
YES dear, and now you can see the sprocket nuts are nut shaped too

I've Leo Vince race cans on my 1000. I like the sound of raising hell in quality format.
Sadly they don't do them for the Raptor anymore, shame, as they're awesome.
I also bought some Road legal Leo's for my husbands zzr14. And they're a bit like a B52 bomber flying past

Re: What price for xtra raptor ?
I reckon 3k. Rare it is, but it would have to be immaculate for that. Prices seem to have lowered for the V, so I'd expect it to be the case for the xtra too

Always preferred it in July. The May Bank Holiday is awkward for myself, and October is too late in the year as I'm already out of baby sitting tokens with other stuff already in place throughout September and October.

Hi, I don't find the suspension harsh, soft or not to my liking. Well, until I had it rebuilt! The front end is now a bit harder I preferred it's saggy old bounce! Maybe it's because it's all new and it needs to settle, and maybe the roads could do with less rough and potholes everywhere than the l...

Re: Throttle response
My Raptor is a bit like me. Cranky when I've not had two cups of coffee in a morning. Raptors Cranky at low speed when under decent running temperature. Once it's warmed up enough she's right as rain! I'm used to it and it's quirky behaviour so much I ignore it mostly

It's a little bit dicey for tomorrow here, but decent there. So I'm risking at this moment to be on the bike. Chase the sun and be there mid afternoon. Crappin my pants if it's rainy. I don't want greasy roads.
