Re: my new raptor
Congrats on the purchase, you will now have a permanent grin! 2000 TLS cable will fit. is just a fraction shorter & need to be rerouted up around the bar/forks area, but otherwise works a treat. Just remember to keep the little plastic sleeve from around the nib (lever end) on the raptor cable &...

Falco Shock Settings?
Hi All, I need some help & info from everyone with a Falco shocks installed on their Raptor please. My shock has just turned up from the USA, but has had the pre-load rings wound all the way down to the bottom (obviously previous owner was a doughnut lover  ) Before i install it into my rap...

Re: Suspension again!
I didn't fancy whacking my link pipe about, so i bought a honda crf chain roller off ebay (£7) and made a mounting bracket for it. It's fastened to the lower exhaust mounting point. I thought it might need spring loading but all it needs is to just clear the pipe. could you post a pic of this weird...

Re: Suspension again!
The Falco shock and Bikefarm triangles jack up the rear to the max ! I had to " adjust " the lefthand exhaust with a hammer to clear the lower chain run ( just a little dent! )... Bazz, i found that this happened with just the triangles & my ART pipes. I have mate that is an exhaust f...

Re: Suspension again!
Chad Yea complete new tubes in alloy sounds. Dont forget you need the rear end lifted/sorted as well, otherwise Id be tempted to drop the legs through the clamps 10 to 20mm to keep the fork angle. With this mod we seem to have the balance of ride height, squat, bump absorption, and dive so let me k...

Re: Suspension again!
Great drawings Slarty, now it all makes sense. When i pull my forks apart i'll have a look at the plastic tubes, it could even be possible to replace these with aluminium tubes of equal diameters & add the 20mm length onto them instead. Will see when i get them apart, otherwise i have a mate tha...

I looked at the PC site too, thought it might have just been the installed map and/or plug that is different.

Re: Wot's yer tyres ?
i'm on Edcar & Evil Twins bandwagon. Pilot Power 2CT's all the way! Best tyres i have found for my riding style. Current set have done a trackday & about 4500 road km's. The rear is just about shot, but will squeeze 1 more trackday out of its. Usually go through 2 rears to 1 front. Was never...

650 Power Commanders fit 1000's?
Hi All,
I had a quick search through past posts & couldn't find any info.
I'm thinking about buying Magnum's PCIII from his 650. does anyone know if it will fit a 1000?
Cheers Chad

Re: Suspension again!
Nice timing Slarty, i'm not far away from tackling a front end rebuild with some progressive springs & will give your fix a go. Any chance you have some pics of the spacers you used so i can try & match some up for the job? I am also waiting on a Falco rear shock to arrive in the next few we...
