Dont think theres any relevant differances between the rap 1000 and the vrap ( waits to be corrected). The quality of the motad stuff is fine just the fitment issues it seems. I`m still thinking of getting brutal with the pretty carbon originals tho` I`m amazed its not been done already................

Anyone used these on their rap and if so are they any good or are they not really serving much purpose other than reducing power/weight ratio?? any thoughts? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cagiva-Raptor-MTC-Stainless-radiater-oil-cooler-guards_W0QQitemZ180170247401QQihZ008QQcategoryZ10534QQssPageNameZWDVWQQ...

Thought you already knew, Adam! I wasnt trying to hide or be someone else, honest!! I personally wouldnt go for a 1125 til they had been around a while, just dont trust Buell to get it right at first go, plus they need to stop whacking it with the ugly stick!! Maybe it`ll look better in the flesh......

Thanks for the input, guys, I too am reasonably happy with the fitment for the mo` but plan to mess about with them as a winter project to see if things can be improved. The problem with the differing legnths is due to the link pipes so will get brutal with the tools come winter! Out of interest, ho...

Hi Guys, been away for a few days, but thanks for the pic, Wreckah and I see what you mean, maybe me just being picky/paranoid?!??! And no I dont have tabs on the linkpipes. Adam, the screen is the standard legnth one fron Skidmarx. Joe, yes it did take a lot of faffin` about to get the cans reasona...

Well seeing as no-one wants to discuss thought I`d take a picture anyway and see if that stirs up some opinion. Fitted them anyway and went for a run. Much improved sound (dB eaters fitted) but stll unsure as to the look.................... http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q282/kildaman/misc091.jpg

Venom S/S oval cans - fitment
Hi Guys, Just been trying to fit these new cans to my bike and the link pipes seem awful long in that when in position they push the can pretty far back so it clamps near the front of the can and the end of the can sticks out furthest at rear of bike. Dont seem right to me but anyone else any though...

Ok, what exactly does the TRE unit do and what benefits/probs can I get from fitting one? The reason for the lower foot rests is to relieve stress on my knees (arthritis) by reducing the bend a bit. I already have a cunning plan to solve that one but what about that seat tho` !?!? My arse is still s...

Hi to all you lot ! Just bought a brand new V raptor 2 days ago (Think its possibly the last one in the country) and have already clocked up 700 miles. Many thanks to Adam for his help and info in the lead up so you can all have a wee dram on me (a double for Adam!) Moved on from the Buell Firebolt ...
