Re: Gear linkage

Hi there, I'm a Navigator owner, so not 100% certain if these would fit a Raptor but they are the right ones for my bike. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M6-Female-Left-Hand-Thread-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-Rose-Joint-/180546088959?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a0962afff http://www.ebay.co.uk/...

Re: Been caught speeding. Allegedly!

Regarding the tracker fitted to police vehicles. I did a bike safe day with South Yorks the other weekend, usual half day in the class room followed by 120 mile ride out. Our officer was issued with a BMW 1200RT, we were talking about this and that and I asked him what the hump behind the seat was f...

TLS ecu, not really worth it on the Navigator

After weeks and months of faffing and procrastinating, I finally managed to take the bike to Dynogod Paul at http://dynobike.co.uk/. Many hours of research had convinced me that the Navigator was restricted by the exhaust ( taken care of by 50mm, 2-1-2 system with 50mm i.d cans) restrictive air box ...

Each to their own.

Someone could easily lose an eye with all those pointy bits.

I wonder if it has heated grips? Possibly not.

Re: EYEBALL (changed title)

Today I mainly spotted a silver Xtra Raptor in the bike park at Bike Safe in Doncaster. Said motorcycle looked un-molested other than the addition of frame sliders. I think the registration began FE51... As I was noseying around I noticed that the strap around the right hand can that covers the join...

Thanks for that suggestion of the 508 map. Did you notice any improvement with the TLS ecu?

Re: Not a Raptor, but still a Cagiva....

Shedmonkey the map I loaded was the nearest one I could find that suited my mods. The biggest difference other than the TL ecu I guess is the full 50mm exhaust, the standard Navigator one I removed was 36mm from the cylinder heads back! The map I chose was for a TLS with a full Yoshi system and an a...

Re: Not a Raptor, but still a Cagiva....

Quite right the pc2 only adjusts the fuel. I am planning on using the tls ecu for its ignition map, I hope the dyno guy will be able to reduce the fuel to suit. I was looking at which components could cause the excess fuel situation I had. TPS is now bang on, engine temp sender mod as per CT, thrott...

Re: Not a Raptor, but still a Cagiva....

Now looking into the Navigators lack of air pressure sensors due to different air box.
Scrub that, just found the blighter hiding between the rear splash guard and the lower seat tray.

Yep pretty horrific. It black smoked like an old bus.

Now looking into the Navigators lack of air pressure sensors due to different air box. Could be time for more resistors.

Re: Not a Raptor, but still a Cagiva....

Back again, I refitted the Cagiva ecu reset the TPS and went for a quick run to the petrol station (AGAIN). 16L in 120kms using the TLS ecu works out at 20mpg! On the way back I stopped and checked the TPS again, the idle had crept up to 1500, adjusted it back to 1200 and checked and reset the TPS. ...
