Re: Owners Manuals

Ok Frankiesan,

I've put it here temporarily:

http://www.benelliclubgb.net/chris/pers ... lish_1.pdf

If you can't download it from here then something is blocking it, for example a firewall at work.

Hope this helps and that no one minds me doing this...

Cheers

Re: Owners Manuals

I can still get to it.. you have to select free user, then wait for a minute then click on the download graphic.

Let me know if you still have problems and I can post it up someplace else.

Re: Dealer / Tune up advice

Hi Twistdpr,
Do you have a drawing for these ride height components? (triangles?) Guys hear at work would make them for less than that in raw alloy. Anodising might be a bit more difficult. Apologies if it's a whole load more complex than I thought.

Re: Dealer / Tune up advice

Thanks Frankiesan & Snap,
Have mailed one and shall phone the other. I never knew Baines were into Raps ... they are also a good option but I'll need to keep a tight grip on my wallet when I visit ;-) .

Re: Insurance / Spares paranoia

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the replies and sorry for not responding sooner but it took until last week to sort out insurance. I checked out all manner of insurance companies and ended up with the two raps both insured on Equity Red Star and both with two riders (36 & 40yrs). I couldn't get comprehe...

Dealer / Tune up advice

Hi all, Wondering about getting my rap checked out for tuning as I've heard several complaints about poor fuelling. I'm happy with the bike as it is but the engine response does agree with people saying they are over rich as standard. One post suggests the existing ECU can be remapped by someone cal...

Electronic ignition diagnotic tool on ebay

Dear all, There's a guy selling this EFI diagnostic tool on ebay from Germany. Here's one... Item number 120409792638. It seems to display the fault codes and from what I can tell not much else. Am I correct in thinking that by using a simple jumper in the dagnostics socket we can all display the sa...

Insurance / Spares paranoia

Hi all, What happened to all the Raptor spares when Cagiva sold MV to Harley? Ducati have all the old Morini spares which makes little sense, you never know what's going to happen! Given the cost and lousyness of insurance for the Xtra perhaps it's time to start stock piling bodywork in case it gets...

Owners manuals

Hi,
I'm not understanding whether the Owners manuals rather than the workshop manual are available anywhere. I have the Xtra raptor manual now. Is it something people would like me to digitise and post on the interweb?

Hello!

Hi, I've been looking at Raptors for a while and now have an excuse to buy one as my better half is looking for something with better brakes, gearbox and engine than her usual ride - a Morini 3.5. Classics are fun but there's times when you should be concentrating on the road rather than the bike! I...
