V4mp wrote:55 years agoI've decided to do "triangle mod" and do triangles by myself. Rising up the tail makes bike steer faster, right ? Does anyone have good dimension for triangles ?
I have a spare set of triangles, I had a few sets cut with a water jet when I made mine.
Does make the steering faster.

Scarlatti are doing a 20% discount on parts for November, just enter promo code nv12 in checkout section to get it.
Just ordered some parts for mine, now to see how long they take to get to Oz. Hopefully before Xmas.

Re: What Have You Named Your Raptor? And Why?

Mine is called "The Squirrel", due it squirrelly nature when ridden hard. My mates all named it after they rode it & got scared  . They all ride jap 1000's & forget what it's like to ride a real bike without all the fancy electronics & steering dampners they have.

I'm running a 03 GSXR 1000 radial M/C. Bigger diameter piston & HH pads. Stops the Rap on a dime!

Re: steering damper?

I agree with Snap, sort your suspension with a few of the tips found here on the forum & you'll find no need for a dampner.
In my experience dampners are a band-aid solution for suspension flaws & reduce feedback from the front end.

No help either i know, just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Suspension again!

FRONT FORK FIX!!! Before I start I must say we both have progressive Hagon fork springs and although these seemed promising when initialy fitted ( before this mod) that disappointing 40mm sag was still there and as we know most of the front fork movement is wasted before you even sit on the bike. I...

Re: Suspension again!

Hi All, An update on my progress... I have fitted the Falco rear shock (already has triangles fitted) & fiddled with the rebound to get it where i'm happy. Wow! What a difference it makes & how much does it accentuate how bad the forks are. So i went out and spent a nice sunny winters aftern...
