Re: 2002 V raptor 1000 fork seals

There is no difference, all years of the raptor used exactly the same forks do all seals should be the same and fit any year.

Re: Raptor swingarm

Block it up using the flat area at rear of engine, remove exhaust first, and use front wheel stand for additional support.
That’s how I done it but others have hoisted rear end up using a strong rafter and hang it from there

Re: Aftermarket clocks

I fitted an aftermarket set of clocks made by koso They worked and most functions were fine but some didn’t, it was more than 10 years ago after I smashed my bike and I fitted the koso ones to get me back on road. I can’t remember exactly what was working or not but the wiring up was pretty straight...

Re: V Raptor 1000 - ECM Conrtol Unit

You can test the injectors electrically and that the solenoid operates but without the ecm and all sensors connected and operating properly it’s hard to say, you can find all the resistance readings etc on the workshop manual for testing injectors

Re: Indicator relay

Norrie, it’s just a simple two pole flasher unit under the seat. Just get a replacement from most bike shops etc.
No power other places sounds like you may have blown a fuse so check fs3 in the box as it supplies all the lesser services.
Good luck!

Re: Rear Brake Lock-up - very scary!

Had something similar happen years ago on mine but wasn’t too dramatic luckily enough. Anyway, it was my MC that was goosed so replaced it and all fine ever since. I did strip the calliper and replace all seals as it had been heated a lot and put in new pads as Excess heat isn’t good for the pad mat...

Re: A simple wheel lift

Great solution!
I must admit I use an ABBA stand snd all I do is jack up the front until the swing arm is at right height for rear wheel!
