Re: Shock swap
Hi, I have just done this mod and it is up there with the best. I bought the shock (2004 triumph 600-same shock as 650) and had my local shop, RAD engineering service it and manufacture the mounts (top and bottom) so it was just a bolt in job and cost less than $200 Aus. to do. I have the link raise...

Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
Hi andy, with a TRE, air box open at top, Leo Vince mufflers with the DB's in, Hi-flow air filter and the dual map fueling, the toque curve is a little bit stronger and smoother across the range. It was quick enough before, but now is just a pleasure to ride everywhere in the rev range. As an aside,...

Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
Well, I was using a downloaded map for my PS3 from their website which was reasonably good to ride with. The lower fuelling never felt as good as it should be (under 5000 rpm) so I bit the bullet and had a dyno map done. The downloaded map gave me 111Hp and now I have 113Hp but the rich fuelling dow...

Re: Dealing with OEM Motor parts

However after all this time and several emails and attempted phone calls they actually sent me an email from a person after I had started the dispute saying it was on backorder. To late and I hope that ...

Re: TPS reset
Just a thank you for this mod, I used a 220ohm resistor with a bar mounted switch in parallel with the temp sensor and switch it on at 30'C when warming up and switch it off at 110'C to remove the 3K glitch. In just another interesting aside, on my ride yesterday (30'C ambient temp, resistor switche...

Re: 99 GSXR750 srad forks on a rappy
Thanks, yes I would like to keep the original wheels so I am trying to find 320mm discs to suit. I can then keep the GSXR brakes and just space them to work.

Swingarm chain guide
Does anyone know where to get a swing arm chain guide as I do not have one on my Raptor 1000 and I hope that they are still available. Some help with this would be much appreciated. I came from a tuono to the Rappy and it is a lot of fun.
