Re: My XRaptor has been stolen!!!
Sorry to be the prophet of doom but it's either in Eastern Europe or in some parts shop ... after what I've seen on the TV the other night regarding car theft syndicates. The Plod are so overwhelmed they wont be much help either.

Re: Saw my old bike today :)
I have always wanted a V Max but never got around to owning one. Went to see one about a year ago but the idiot had brush painted the engine :? Really loved the look of the max though and the seat height was ideal for my short fat legs. Weighs a ton though and handles like a pig on LSD :woot: Well h...

Re: Just Saying Hi
Welcome data you are an inspiration.
Hope I can still ride my Rap when I get to 70.
Most encouraging thing I saw a couple of years ago was a couple in their 80's on a Honda 125.
Best regards Red

Dirty Filling Station forecourts
RANT TIME  I went to my local T@sco filling station this morning to top the Rap up before my ride to work. There was a huge patch of diesel on the floor and it was like a skating rink under foot. I moved the bike to a clean pump area and filled her up there. When I reported the issue t...

Re: Clutch actuator service
Something I did notice whilst doing this job is that oil came out of the seal when I pulled the clutch rod out to clean it, I take it that this is normal?

Rubber air intake thingies
I have pulled these off looks like they restrict the air intake somewhat.
Anyone had problems after doing this? Haven't had time for a test run.

Clutch actuator service
Thank you to whomever it was who gave me the heads up on the stiff clutch issue. Took the actuator off and cleaned and greased the helixes and removed the Built-up crud on the actuator rod. :suspect: Action much smoother now but still on the heavy side but I'll get used to that. Regards R...

Re: Clutch conversion revisited!
I am considering this mod over the winter. Since Mr Suzuki made a lot of bikes out of the parts bin, it's likely that the clutch slave cylinder is common to a number of models which should make part searching a bit easier. When I get around to it I'll search out the part numbers. Also ...

Hi from Gloucestershire
Hello everyone, I'm Richard from Stroud Gloucestershire. I got my beautiful Raptor 1000 Friday and I love the bike to bits. I've had a lot of bikes, Bandit 1200; Hayabusa and recently a Suzuki GSR600 which I loved but could not cope with the lack of torque. The raptor suits me fine, low seat height ...
