Re: Hi from Essex
I take it you'll not be following me round Cadwell next time? I've a TLS ecu going spare if you want to finally banish the myth. I'd love to try a Raptor ECU at some point.

Re: Raptor 1000 consumption
I have a similar cheat device fitted to my Navigator. Works really well as the air temp drops. My understanding was that the "choke" was just for an increased idle speed, hoding the throttle flaps open. The increase in fuel comes from the cold map. Most recent mod has been making a 2 into ...

Re: Raptor 1000 consumption
Check that the temp guage is going above 81 degrees, below that is the cold map which dumps in loads of fuel.

Will there be room for another Navigator, just a pop in visit?

Re: Cagiva navigator
As I mentioned same engine as the TL1000S, a fellow 'Gator rider fitted a TLR motor into his, it didn't go any better until he ditched the restrictive exhaust system. I've tried the TL 1000S ecu mod on mine, on the dyno it only raised the rev limiter by 400rpm with no real gain in power or torque. T...

Re: Cagiva navigator
They use the same engine. They are restricted mainly by the small air box, peashooter exhaust and different ecu. Great bike in my biased opinion. https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2890/13722227513_4334e7d2bc_s.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3779/13722177693_b644a1b922_s.jpg Can some clever so and s...

Re: 3000 rpm gritch at temperature under 80 deg C
When your bike is "custom mapped" it will be running above the dreaded 80 degrees C, consequently the fueling adjustments will be made to the "hot map". I've had my bike "custom mapped" twice ( 'cos I'm a faffer) and the glitch was evident until I carried out CT's mod t...

Re: Marzocchi fork mods
Top job sir, my kind of engineering, cutting metal to access stuff, modding said stuff and welding it up again.
Rear shock mod just as ingenious.
I see from your work bench your are fellow exhaust modder.
I take my hat off to you.

Re: Bhp increase
The power commander will improve "rideability" of your bike on it's own. The extra grunt comes from ditching the restrictions in the air box and exhaust system. Different dynos will give different power outputs, it's only a number! The feeling from your backside dyno will tell you the incr...

Re: Raptor 1000 won't start
Hi there, As previously advised the oil light will only go out when the engine is running( providing there is sufficient oil pressure). From your description it sounds like the engine is not turning over. With a fully charged battery the head light should be bright. If the lights are bright do they ...

Re: 3000 rpm gritch at tepmeratute under 80 deg C
From the symptoms you so eloquently describe, I believe your bike is displaying the "Suzuki warm up glitch". It would appear that you have been very fortunate in the past and your bike did not suffer this most irritating fault. It does now. The earlier TL1000's were sorted by fitting hotte...

Re: 3000 rpm gritch at tepmeratute under 80 deg C
It can be sorted. The throttle position sensor adjustment is critical to smooth running. The kit that Crap Tartan fits really does work, I fitted a version to My Navigator ( same engine , same issues) and it does take the ecu off the "cold " map earlier thus removing the warm up glitch. Go...

Re: Gear linkage
Hi there,
After reading your description I think the Raptor linkage is the same as the Navigator, in which case the ones listed should do the job.
