Re: Hi from Australia
Well guys - the time has come for me to depart. I have passed my much loved Raptor onto a new caring owner her in Australia. I have told him about this forum, so most likely he will be lurking around here somewhere. I have to say, the Raptor has been the most fun i can have on a bike under 150km/h, ...

Re: steering damper?
I have retighted a few times, but i actually replaced them to find the problem unsuccessfully. They didnt need replacing, but did as a process of elimination. I have now eliminated all, and put it down to my size and height. I have this problem a bit with most bikes. The only bikes i have not had th...

Hmmmm.... ... has your bike had the radiator mounting modification as described in the re-calls? It's supposed to relieve some of the tension in the upper mounting point. Can anyone let me know where i find this information. I have had mine repaired twice now, so not sure if the mod will help me. P...

Re: Hi Everyone
I am 6'5" and have a jack up kit, which helped the handling no end. I have Pilot Pure on also, and it goes through the twisties like no other.
I had the front half of the seat raised with foam insert and re-trimmed. It is the same height as the back part, and now works a treat.

Re: Anyone tried one of these?
My wife's FZ6 had one of these when we bought it. I have moved all the switches to "0" to remove any fuel changes and zip tied it up inside. A complete waste of time and money. As has been said - get a PCIII and a custom map, or a wideband and adjust it yourself from the logs. I had this s...

Re: Ram air the air box
I know a guy who did this to a CB900 Hornet with some PVC right angle bends and sealing up the airbox etc. He picked up 6mph at the drags which is no small increase. That 6mph would be equivelent to 15hp or so a the wheel. Well worth a try. If you do, let us know your success/failures. The drags is ...

I agree with prices of Parts in Australia. Now even worse since the Australian Importer for Cagiva has severed ties with the company. Not sure what happened there.

I have Michy Pilot Pure's on. They have good all round grip with dual compound etc. They have a wicked looking tread pattern to boot.
