Does anyone have pictures of their unfaired / naked V-Raptor 1000 they can point me to please? I am having trouble getting the front end back on tidy - especially the routing of brake, throttle, clutch and idler lines.

Basically what I need is a couple of clear, close up pictures of a standard Rap front end (front, left and right sides) so I can see how to correctly route the lines.

My main problem is that I think I have it right then find something is too tight so I have to either drop the forks or take off the handlebars / top yoke to try different brake line routing or tuck cables one side of the plastic indicator mounts or the other.

I've got a feeling that a previous owner has changed the handlebars so that's why things are too tight. Hope someone can help, many thanks.

I found when I changed my bars I needed to move the switchgear down the bars about a cm on each side. Then either chop the excess off or get some bar ends that make it look less botched! :D

I'd offer photo's of mine up but it's a 650.

Perfect, thanks TimO.

Edited to add:

And thanks for the tip Frankiesan, after spending ages trying it one way then the other I decided to saw 30mm off each bar end. It just went on like a dream, in fact there is now too much slack in the wiring so the headlight was a tight fit - but all the control cables go on nice and tidy just like TimO's pictures. Thanks again for giving a newbie the encouragement, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the help especially as I ask so many daft questions!

Can you elaborate on the bar change. I need to get the bars back a little as my wife has very short arms, but rotating the bars back lets them hit the tank. Perhaps I need risers as well. Any thoughts?

Cheers
