I always pronounced it with my London accent as GHEE, but I have been corrected by an Italian and now use GEE.

Thanks for the advice Ozzy. The bike had a belly pan on it when purchased, but I didn't like it so took it off. Maybe thats why I notice the exhaust so much now!

I will try painting and see how its fares.

Other than replacing them (which I can't afford), what can I do to improve the appearence of my rather rusty looking exhaust pipe. Can I rub it down and paint it or something. Tail end OK, just the front lets it down .

Yes, the pegs do feel high (6ft tall) but I never feel uncomfortable. I suppose its because I'm having so much fun I don't notice .

Try tightening the locknuts on the mirrors. Worked for me.
